Julia Grace is originally from Nuremberg, Germany and currently lives in Valencia, Spain. Teaching languages and imparting cultural competence are the pillars of her work. Both are a bridge between people from different cultures and backgrounds and help overcome barriers in various areas of life.
She has spent many years in English speaking places such as London, England, Seattle, Washington and in different places in New Hampshire in the U.S. before her path led her – via Paris, France, Sofia, Bulgaria and Bogotá, Colombia - back to her German hometown. After six years in Nuremberg, she set up camp in the vibrant city by the Mediterranean Sea about a year ago.
For nearly 20 years, she has been working with languages and helping individuals of all ages as well as companies to improve their linguistic skills and through that develop cultural competence.
Besides her translation and interpretation studies (degree: state-approved translator with a major in French and a minor in English and Spanish), she also obtained a „Grade A“ in her Cambridge English Assessment C2 (native level) in 2021. Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to lead a team of about 20 interpreters for international events and conferences and has carried out translations for companies such as Vapiano as well as the US military.
Julia continues to educate herself in the languages she speaks and keeps on developing her own cultural competence through living in a foreign country and interacting with various cultures on a daily basis.
